James Liao
Product Manager
The product decisions I care about are often the ones people should not have to notice: a sensible default, a clear hierarchy, or a prompt that arrives at the right moment. They determine whether an experience feels useful from the start and dependable over time.
My work has moved from mobile utility products and desktop software to Android OS and consumer hardware. The platforms changed; the starting point did not. What is someone trying to get done, and what would make the better path feel natural?
Behind that are the rules, states, and handoffs that shape how a product behaves in daily use. Getting them right is how technology earns a place in everyday life.
